Megan’s ready to give birth, but she’s not ready to let her mate leave her side. When Cashol must go hunting to feed the tribe, they’re separated for the first time since resonance. Not a problem, except the baby’s ready to be born and there’s a storm brewing…

Review

This was a cute novella that gave a glimpse into how life is fairing for Megan while she is pregnant with her first baby.

Megan never got a full length book, but after reading this, I wish she did. I do think her character came off a bit annoying, but her abandonment issues are warranted considering the trauma she experienced on Earth and while kidnapped. I think it would have been interesting to see her POV on her issues and how she is working on them, but this novella didn’t really focus on that.

Cashol’s character development was okay, but again, I wish there was more. I liked his story line and how he was torn between helping take care of his tribe and his mate’s cries to stay with her while she was pregnant.

Overall, I am glad I read it and it is always nice getting a refresher on the girls between books. It was cute, fluffy and I zoomed through it super fast!
